Role: Centre Sales Excellence Intelligence Analyst
Key objectives are set and results are evaluated by: Vice President Centre Sales Excellence
The Role
As part of the newly established Centre Sales Excellence you will be a key part of our team, with the objective of taking Maersk Line Sales to the next level.
We have recently introduced a number of changes to the way we do sales. Our key objective is to truly anchor this new mindset in our global Sales organisation and maximise the return on all those changes. Based on this foundation we will develop a strategy for that will bring us the most effective, efficient and performance driven Sales organisation in the industry – allowing us to beat competition.
Your primary objective will to enable us to engage in fact based discussions with our global sales organisation. However, you will not only serve as data provider, but also analyse the facts, conclude and make recommendations and actively engage with Cluster to drive changes and improve performance.
You will do regular and adhoc analyses and ensure that same are documented and continuously optimised. You will own the global and local project plan and ensure that agreed actions are done timely.
You will be part of a team and it is expected that you actively contribute to the overall team spirit and provide assistance whenever needed.
Key objectives
You will be measured on following KPIs:
- Global Contribution Yield
- Global CSS
- Global FFE per Sales FTE
- Global pipeline effectiveness, velocity and quality
Competencies
You have a strong commercial background, with an aptitude for numbers and possess analytical mindset with a sense for details. You also have broad cross functional knowledge of the various business processes and systems.
It is expected that you are a self-starter, working well on time pressure and always deliver on time with high quality. You are a good communicator and can engage and drive motivation and passion within global Sales organisation and build strong relations with key stakeholders.
You must master most of below processes and tools and we kindly ask you to assess your competencies for each of them when applying (Expert, good, somewhat, no clue): Minitab, SCV, Webi, RKMS2, INSIGHT analytics and answers, FACT, Periscope, CODS, PARPA, GCSS, MARS, Excel, Access, MS Office project, PowerPoint.
Alternative you have an academic background, with flair for how numbers can drive changes and being a quick learner.
Prerequisites:
Masters in Business/Marketing/Statistics
