2. Qualifications and
Experience:
a) B-Pharm, M-Pharm or M S C. (B S.C chemistry with higher experience would
be considered)
b) Should have worked in medium sized pharmaceutical unit
(regulated or non-regulated market) in R&D or formulation
development.(Non-regulated market i.e pharma companies not exporting to
US,Europe,Canada,Brazil etc.)
c) Experience of 5 to 10 years with emphasis on areas
listed below.
· Knowledge on gelatin
capsules.
· Basic knowledge on pre formulation & excipients
compatibility.
· Basic
knowledge on formulations, experience on trouble shooting issues related to
formulations.
· Hands on
experience on modifying /changing various excipients in capsules and tablets.
· Developing new products, processes, recipes etc.
· Technical
literature and patent searches and preparing reviews and summaries of the
same.
3. Job
Requirements:
a) The candidate will be reporting to his Dept. head / CEO /
Directors.
b) Key
deliverables are listed below.
· Resolve the issues customers face; be they on formulation, process,
capsule or capsule filling machine (hand filling machines)
· Development of new products e.g. cold water soluble capsules, enteric
capsules etc.
· Cleaning validation of new machines.
· Coordinate
dosing trials on animals through contract research labs, customers, etc.
· Coordinate for publishing articles on the developments done in
international journals or magazines.
c) Carry out developments or
experiments from basic concepts or inputs from customers
related with capsules, formulations
and capsule filling machines. He should be able to
interact and
learn from the experts in the group like Ph.D persons and
directors.
d)
Should be able to design & conduct experiments on new developments i.e.
Cold-water soluble capsules, Fish gelatin capsules as an alternative, flavored
capsules etc. Should be able to
interpret the results and make recommendations.
e) Should deliver results with cost
consciousness, timeliness and accuracy.
f) He should identify other
researchers and laboratories that can carry out some of the
works.
g) Should be efficient and effective in verbal and written
communication.
4. Organization
details:
Custom Capsules Pvt. Ltd is an associate of ACG
Worldwide. We are the world leader in manufacturing Veterinary capsules and lab
scale capsule filling machines. All the products are exported to western
countries like
USA,
UK, Germany
etc.
The organization has plans to do developments in various
fields i.e. capsules, formulations, new machines, animal studies etc. to meet
customer’s needs.
5. Job
Location:
Ø The Job is at the company located at Boisar Tarapur
MIDC.
Ø Boisar is 85 Kilometers from Mumbai and is at 1.5 hrs. Journey by train
from Borivali Station or by road via western express highway.
Ø The ambience at Boisar is peaceful & enjoyable for family &
children. Boisar has good schooling & hospital facilities.

Compensation:
- The compensation will commensurate with the
qualifications and experience of the candidate
& in line with Pharma industry.
- The Company provides a semi-furnished 2BHK flat
in its housing complex in residential area near Boisar Station. The housing
complex is next to a bustling shopping area and a short from the company.

additional responsibilities in the related areas over a period of
