Skill Requirements
Proficiency in CATIA V5: Part Design, Sketcher, Assembly Design,
Sheet-metal design, drafting, DMU, Tubing
Conduct feasibility study of concepts for front suspension and
steering systems
Good communication skills with Japanese/ English
Preferred with Japanese language proficiency
Job Responsibilities
Concept generation and concept evaluation of engine aggregates
Concept feasibility studies
Design for manufacture and assembly
Conversant with manufacturing techniques as applicable
Experience
Above 4 years of experience in CATIA V5
Overall above 3 years of domain experience in engine aggregates
design for trucks
OEM experience preferred
Good vehicle engineering design and vehicle packaging experience
Mechanical engineering background
Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques like sheet metal
forming, casting, forging etc.
