Job Description
ROLE : Sr. Business Intelligence Data Architect
Required skills
• 7+
years of experience with designing and deploying business intelligence solutions
• 3+ years of experience in working with MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business
Objects or MS BI suite.
• 3+ years of Data modeling based on business
requirements adhering to recognized industry standards. Candidate must have
thorough understanding & practical application of relational and dimensional
design as well as industry embraced methodologies.
• Working knowledge of the
SQL/PL-SQL, MDX and VB(.Net) Script languages;
The ideal candidate will
have commercial experience architecting and implementing data warehouses and
business intelligence solutions. The candidate is expected to have a working
knowledge of enterprise level infrastructure, middleware technologies, databases
and application servers.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate
will have commercial experience architecting and implementing data warehouses
and business intelligence solutions. The candidate is expected to have a working
knowledge of enterprise level infrastructure, middleware technologies, databases
and application servers. Candidate must have completed at least three (3) full
life cycle DW Implementation from requirements till post production support.
Must have in-depth understanding of enterprise data standards, data quality
& how data is used as a strategic asset. Must be able to mentor and grow
information architecture practice.
Additional responsibilities include
identifying information needs and business rules as part of Conceptual Data
Model and Logical Data Model development efforts as well as conducting data life
cycle analysis and data profiling activities to produce source-to-target mapping
and transformation specifications
