Project Coordinator
Reporting to: Project Manager Code: ATC_JD_PC_0103
• Leads the project team and coordinates the project and all matters related to project
content.
• Implements the agreed action plan to meet the agreed standards and deadlines.
• Ensures the effective preparation and delivery of all project events and meetings and
production of all necessary documentation.
• Takes responsibility for the effective flow of information between project team
members, participants in project activities, and the project manager, as well as
external communication with other stakeholders.
• On an ongoing basis, evaluates project activity and reports on project progress to the
project manager.
• Submits the final results of the project to the project manager.
• Reviews project assignment to determine scope and diversity of involvement, training
and resources needed, necessary contacts and required procedural administrative
actions, reviews existing methods and procedures, and modifies as necessary to
accomplish assignment; identifies potential difficulties and determines means of
lessening or avoiding them.
• Identifies resources and administrative steps needed for project completion;
participates in developing project plan in consultation with other stakeholders;
initiates project and coordinates steps to ensure participation of appropriate
interested individuals and groups.
• Monitors project status to ensure progress toward completion that required
procedural steps are completed fully and timely, that interested groups and
individuals are informed of progress, and that project output is appropriate.
• Modifies project plan and coordinates changes with participants as necessary in
response to unforeseen changes or unexpected developments; upon project
completion, closes files and reviews records to ensure documentation is appropriate
and complete.
• Follows up and maintains risk register; assures that risks are mitigated and
implements contingency/fallback plans if required.
Skills
• Good documentation skills, good multi-tasking skills, good analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 2 – 4 years experience in project management field.
• Accomplished Arabic/English language skills are a must.
• Previous experience in Middle East.
• Familiarity with project methodologies and practices.
• Multimedia low current/Security systems/Network Infrastructure background is
preferred.
