Job Description
Responsible for licensing training for all agents at the branch
- Plan, schedules and publish the Pre-licensing calendar for the branch. Conducts pre-licensing refreshers & training for all agents
- Coordinates with external training institutes for online and classroom training being conducted for agents to ensure pass percentage
- Schedules all branch level training programs and publishes the calendar as per the system
- Ensures timely deliveries of all training either by him or by other trainers / managers
- Maintains a record of all training programs and participants and publishes relevant MIS
Responsible for product knowledge, selling skills and other behavioral training for all constituents of the branch
- Remains abreast of all agents and employees vis-à-vis the gaps in training needs and designs a developmental plan covering all of them
- Conduct Field Calls to orchestrate and implement a system to make it happen. Also, these field calls are to observe, diagnose developmental problems, and prescribe a development plan
- Publish sales & marketing ideas
- Conduct in-house seminars for policyholders and prospects
- Coordinate and follow up on the MDRT and other R&R of the agents and employees
- Coordinate office use of Specialists/ Consultants for agent development
- Product Training
- Assist the Business Managers/ Agents as needed in the following areas:
- Product knowledge
- Sales systems for specific products
- Computer systems
Key contribution to the business results of the branch
- Tracks business performance against targets for individual agents and employees and supports their efforts to meet at exceed targets
- Responsible, along with line managers, for the productivity of the agents in their first 60 days (quick start)
- Tracks the overall performance on key business parameters such as FYP, Activization, number of policies etc. and supports corrective action to help the branch meet and exceed business targets
Directly responsible for meeting the regulatory and organizational standards and compliances
- Ensures that he completes his own AIII qualifications as per plan*
- Remains abreast and educates others on all regulatory compliance
- Manages the library at the branch as per the regulatory guidelines
- Ensures training days, timings, and documentation strictly as per the regulatory guidelines
- Monitors, reports and course corrects the curriculum and delivery internally and externally
- Identifies external vendors for carrying out the training in a compliant manner wherever necessary
Measures training effectiveness with respect to agreed objectives and return on training investment
- Implements a system to measure the training effectiveness at all 4 levels of Kirkpatrick model for all internal and external training for his channels
- Monitors, reports and course corrects
Candidate Profile
Candidate from Life Insurance Training Background with Minimum 2+ year experience. Candidates working with insurance companies as off role trainer will also do. Max Age is 34 Year.
