Job Description

We are looking for Business Development professionals with 6+ yrs of relevant experience for our Sydney/Melbourne office.

The candidate should have a Australian PR.

JOB LOCATION : Sydney/Melbourne

This role entails the below given responsibilities-

  • To generate and grow the sales revenues in named accounts in the Banking Financial Services, Insurance and Mortgage verticals in Australia.
  • Uses multiple prospecting methods to generate leads, set up sales meetings and pitch appropriate IT Services, BPO and contact centre solutions to customers and prospects in Australia.
  • Anchors proposal preparation activity, and works closely with presales and delivery managers in identifying appropriate solution for the customer.
  • Must have a very strong understanding of Global Delivery Models in the IT/BPO/Contact Centre services industry.
  • Prior industry experience is a must.
  • Should be independent and able to work with minimum supervision

 The key result areas would be as below-

 Sales strategy :

-Study market needs and identify opportunities

-Build strategy to acquire clients

-Develop leads

-Build knowledge of domain

-Determine client business requirement and fit with iGATE offerings

-Develop business cases based on analyses of client requirements

 Sales Operations

-Work as an individual contributor and meet revenue targets.

-Pursue multiple prospecting techniques including cold calling, referrals, email campaigns etc.

-To connect with decision makers at client sites

-Identify, research and evaluate new business opportunities, establish contacts with clients to

-Understand their business needs

-Articulate the IGATE value proposition to prospects and clients.

-Negotiate commercial and legal aspects of the contracts

 Client Management

-Become a trusted advisor to client and make the client look good with his constituency

-Develop and maintain an ongoing relationship with customers to facilitate future selling  opportunities.

-Manage client expectations on timelines, solutions. Pricing etc.

-Work with delivery the delivery organization (Global Delivery Model) to ensure all deliverable are met.

Coordination & Liaison

-Work with cross-functional teams for proposal preparation and presentation, contract

-Negotiation and ongoing running of account.

-Coordinate with various delivery teams in delivery from time to troubleshoot problems
