Position: GPG Software Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Key Skills:

·         Good hands on experience on Embedded SW unit testing.

·         Good knowledge about various SDK, compiler testing.

·         Should be strong in C, Visual Studio, Perl, Shell, XML and Windows scripting.

Responsibility

·         Develop test cases / test plans consisting of functional testing, negative testing, customer / end user testing, stress, performance, reliability and usability testing

·         He should be able to modify / create test cases and build the test plan, determine Hardware and ASIC coverage and assist with test case optimization / efficiency (with guidance from the onsite team)

·         He need to evaluate / analyze all deliverables and workflow and suggest process and or tools improvement

·         Evaluation / review of all new or existing processes, comparing them to established procedures and standards both technical and non-technical and champion where applicable.

·         Test Automation, ability to define requirements and or automate existing test cases.

·         Familiar with system (PC) configuration and manage Windows and Linux OSs

·         With reference to training, will need to be technically sound and have the ability to train / educate local staff on new features/requirements and or tools

·         System / Environment maintenance – this may involve building new 3D Captures / Game cache

·         This individual will be expected to participate in all phases of the software development cycle including but not limited to development of test strategies/methodology/quality

·         Should be familiar with Test Execution, Problem triaging, prioritizing and status reporting

·         Display device compatibility testing on various OS platforms (windows/Linux based)

Skills and Experience Requirement:

·         Strong knowledge of 3D graphics concepts, DirectX and / or OpenGL, middleware, and game engine technologies

·         Familiar with aspects of product development, such as lifecycles, software process methodology and product deployment

·         Good knowledge of Windows / Linux operating systems

·         Good hardware/software trouble shooting and analytical skills a must

·         Hands on experience with PC hardware/software /networking configuration and setup a must

·         Test Automation, ability to define requirements and or automate existing test cases.

·         Should be a team player and have the ability to take responsibilities
