OMC-Functional Head (Development) for Telecom Company

1. Managing OMC software development for telecom products

2. Project management and tracking ongoing projects. Prepare project schedules/plans and layouts. Monitor projects with respect to cost, resources, deployment, quality compliance, productivity. Test the equipments developed.

3. Developing a team spirit and enhancing the performance of the team by ensuring that their issues/concerns are addressed.

4. To ensure that the team is abreast with the latest technologies/products. Also to ensure that refresher sessions are conducted for service team at least twice an year.

5. Ensure adherence to quality standards and maintaining all related documents. Identify areas of quality failures and take steps to rectify the system. Practice quality standards with key emphasis on improving quality.

Required:

1. Expertise in requirement analysis, architectural design and development of products with respect to high availability, scalability, user interfaces.

2. OMC/NMS applications

3. Having telecom domain knowledge (GSM/GPRS), TCP/IP and OAM (MSC/BSC) subsystem knowledge.

4. Good expertise in JAVA, XML, SOAP, JMS, RMI, CORBA Database

5. Good command over Network Management Protocols (SNMP)

6. Understanding of MIBs

7. Knowledge of object oriented design and implementation methodology, open framework in telecom networks.
