The successful candidate will join Citi Research Global Research Center (GRC) in Mumbai.
The GRC in Mumbai is a full research office working with Equities Research, Fixed Income Research, Commodities Research, Rates Research and Equity Quant Research. It also handles various critical functions such as Research Distribution, Global Data Services, Modeling and Risk Management.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Understand and analyze client feedback received in the form of broker votes or account reviews from Client Management team or salespersons
Liaise with regional Research Business Managers or Client Management teams to gain better understanding of the BV data
Enter the BV data accurately and as provided in the BV system as per predefined rules and interpretation for each client
Follow the internal workflow processes, rules and guidelines in processing Broker Votes
Prepare periodic or ad-hoc reports including Research Analyst/Sales Panel Leagues, based off the BV data in the system
Provide ongoing support to regional Research Business Managers or Research Analysts or Salespersons on queries or requests related to Broker Votes
Take ownership and deliver on ongoing or ad-hoc projects, either current or planned, related to BV process
Perform UAT testing to ensure any system changes or improvements are deployed accurately and efficiently
Act as a mentor to junior team members in training, coaching and developing their knowledge and expertise
Education: Masters or Bachelors degree in a business related discipline or equivalent qualification from a premier academic institution
Experience: >3 year experience in Research, Banking or a Management Consulting firm Experience in the research domain is preferred
Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational and project management skills with undaunted focus on quality and client service
Good knowledge and understanding of the business and operational requirements of investment research firms or investment management firms; prior experience working with sell-side or buy-side research in a top tier firm will be an added advantage
Should be self-motivated, highly-focused and detail-oriented
Should be comfortable dealing with large amounts of structured or unstructured data (both quantitative and qualitative information)
Good written and verbal communication skills and should be able to communicate at different levels (within and outside the team) with ease; any prior experience of interacting with senior management stakeholders will be a plus
Should be good in multi-tasking, and independently manage workflow and be able to prioritize tasks according to their urgency
Should be a good team player and demonstrate high level of energy and a desire to learn and progress within the team and company
